Staring at a blank piece of paper can be daunting, waiting for something useful to pop into your head. But usually, nothing happens and you become stuck on the first line of your ad.
And I completely understand as we’ve been in this situation many times.
But now, we use this one simple trick that helps us get out of the gates within seconds.
The first thing we do is write something that asks the reader if they are a good prospect for our product.
For example, if you were writing an ad for a chiropractic business, you could say “Does your back hurt?”. Or for a basketball program, you can write "Would you like to improve your free throws?"
We use this simple technique because it gets straight to the point.
No mucking around.
And we start off simple because simple works. It's not about being super creative and innovative. It's about resonating with your target audience quickly so we can keep their attention.
This one trick will give you a great start for your ad and will hook your target audience immediately!
