How To Get More Sales By Improving Your Writing (Part 3)!

Writer's picture: Dylan SarapunasDylan Sarapunas

In this post series we’re covering better writing and how you get your customers glued to their screen while they devour your marketing. If you haven’t checked out the previous two posts, they're here:

Do you know the one thing that really kills sales?

It's being booooring.

And the most boring thing in the world is when you are 'waffling'.

An example of waffling is when someone might email you and say:

"I know you are probably busy and I don't want to take too much of your time as you must be a busy person"

It's weak and passive language that holds no value in your writing.

It's like they need to be careful of something. Let's not be timid in our writing and act like we are breaking down doors and cutting trees with a chainsaw.

You should be cutting through all the clutter in your sentences.

Just get straight to the point with what you have to say.

So I want you to read every sentence before posting content and ask yourself "Does this sentence add any value".

Do this and you will be surprised how many words and sentences have absolutely no value.

So be concise. Get to the point. And watch your sales improve.

Talk soon,

Dylan

If you want to work together I’ll tell you exactly how that works, if you don’t want to work together that’s fine too. No hard selling, no pressure, no annoying sales tactics.
